What is The Atlanta School of the Performing Arts?

This experience for your child is life-changing and priceless. The Atlanta School of the Performing Arts (ASPA) provides each student with acting, voice, performance, and dance coaching. Collaboratively, this team builds sets, hangs lights, pulls together scripts, edits music, designs sound, and creates the energy of a great theatre experience in a miraculous amount of time...just one rehearsal a week.  This is not found anywhere else in the country.

At ASPA, we focus on the heart, mind, and soul of each performer. We go above and beyond to ensure that each child feels comfortable, happy, and confident, resulting in the creation of a safe environment where your child can grow as an "ensemble" member. Being a part of an ensemble (the theatrical family) will give each child the opportunity to embrace their cast and teaches them that every part they play in life is significant; thus the adage "there are no small parts..."

Founder Jennifer Salberg’s love for performing began at age five.

Her journey from the stage of Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas, took her to New York City. As a young adult she achieved success in film, television and off-Broadway theatre. Her greatest role in life was yet to come – Motherhood. With the birth of her two leading ladies, Hannah and Olivia, Jennifer Salberg’s new journey would  give “every child the chance to shine in the spotlight."

The Atlanta School of the Performing Arts prepares students for show business. ASPA Alumni have become working actors on Broadway, in prime time television, and on National Tours by the age of ten. There are two reasons the doors for show business have been opened for these children: world-class training and world-renowned resume building -- opportunities only available through The Atlanta School of the Performing Arts.
